Jennifer Nicol has been teaching watercolours to multiple grade-level students in schools across the National Capital Region since 2003. A talented artist in her own right, Jennifer is a devoted teacher who has helped inspire myriad students to discover their innate talents and express their creativity. Her gentle and generous nature have endeared her to all her students and earned her tremendous respect and admiration within the Ottawa community. Jennifer illustrated the images within the pages of the book and helped seven-year-old Dominique, the little girl who inspired the story, paint them. Dominique truly thrived under Jennifer’s instruction and gained a newfound confidence while discovering her own creativity. Jennifer is the very proud mother of two teenagers.
